• The minimum age is 12 years for all participants (no exceptions).
• Guided tours are not suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues.
• Please wear closed, sturdy shoes.
• Video and audio recordings, as well as the use of mobile phones are not allowed in the factory. Mobile phones need to be switched off throughout the tour.
• Please always adhere to the the instructions of the tour guide or works security staff.
• During the tour visitors may not leave the group. If you decide to leave the group and works security have to be involved, you will be charged the costs.
• At the beginning of the tour identification badges and in some cases a personal audio guide will be issued. At the end of the visit both must be returned to the tour guide fully intact. Should we issue you with an audio device, you can use your own headphones with 3.5 mm jack plug.
• Touching aircraft components and/or the aircraft is not permitted. Smoking, eating and drinking is not allowed in the hangars. Pets are not accepted.
• Guests who are intoxicated,are alcoholized (0.0 thousandth) or whose safety cannot be guaranteed for other reasons, cannot join the tour. The access to the site will be decided Airbus Security.
• Handrails in the factory must be used. This is a mandatory occupational safety requirement for all persons in the factory.
• In areas of high noise level with the corresponding blue symbol, the use of ear protection equipment is mandatory. You can get this free of charge via the ear protector dispenser at the appropriate entrances. Airbus/Globetrotter assume no liability for loss of hearing, if you do not correctly use this protection.
• All commercial information of the Airbus group and its business partners which you may receive during the tour is to be kept confidential from third parties. This also applies to internal information, such as for technical and structural equipment, manufacturing methods and procedures.
• All publications which are available after the factory tour, must be released by Airbus over the Globetrotter Travel Agency GmbH.
• Airbus as a host and Globetrotter as promoters reserve the right to suspend or cancel tours without replacement even at short notice due to operational or security reasons. No charges will be made in this case, but also no damages can be claimed.
• In Bremen and Stade, no bags or rucksacks may be taken into the factory. There are no lockers available.

In the event of misconduct or disturbance Airbus/Globetrotter can also remove participants from the site during the tour. Airbus and/or Globetrotter do not accept liability for any damage of property and personal injury

• The guided tours are not suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues (stairs must be climbed and seating is not available)
• For sites Stade and Bremen: Participants from non- EU countries may require a special permit. Please ensure that you have to inform us before booking.
• Airbus site tours at Bremen and Stade  are not offered for resellers or travel agencies. Exception for the Hamburg Site.

The availability for dates in Bremen will not be displayed online.

In the individual tour offers and in our fast-finder you can find free places without first having to book. Should no free tours be displayed, please change the period or reduce the number of places required. If your requested tour date is not displayed, it is already fully booked. On public holidays and between Christmas and New Year's Eve, there are no guided tours.

In Hamburg  a maximum of only 35 participants, in closed groups up to 50 participants  is possible per tour guide. In Stade and Bremen a maximum of 20 participants is possible. Should your group consist of more than 50/20 persons, then the participants will be divided into several tour groups. Depending on circumstances on the day the tours can be either in parallel or staggered. In the case of small groups or single reservations we reserve the right to add additional participants to the group.  If you would like to have an exclusive group you can request this. 

Booking several part-groups/tours

When a booking is made for several part-groups you can request different starting times from us. We will check this  depending on the daily situation and tour types.
For reservations of more than 20/50 places on guided tours for individual guests we always recommend first booking 20/50 places on one tour and then additional places. Thus you have the advantage that only on one tour are other guests booked.

Exclusive groups

You have the possibility to book a guided tour as an Exclusive Group. Then you can pay a flat rate for the maximum allowed number of participants for that tour. Your tour will not be filled with other people and you remain alone with your participants. Verified price reductions will be taken into account.

In addition to German, guided tours are also available in English and French. Should you wish the tour to take place in French or English, this must be notified in advance.

Receipt of the discount depends not on the booking confirmation but on the on-site verification of the documentation.

FAQ

What can I use a voucher for?

• Vouchers can be redeemed for an Airbus plant tour in Hamburg, Bremen and Stade. 
• They are neither personal nor date-bound and can be redeemed on any day. 

How can I pay for the voucher?

• By Paypal or by advance payment (bank transfer).

How do I receive the voucher?

• The voucher will be sent to you in digital form by email after receipt of payment.

This is how you redeem your voucher:

• Vouchers can be redeemed within the scope of online bookings, by email, or via our contact form. 
• Any number of vouchers can be redeemed per booking up to the total price, 
• Vouchers can be redeemed up to the start of the booked guided tour.
• Please avoid redeeming them directly at the check-in as this may cause delays. 

How long is my voucher valid?

• Vouchers are valid and released for redemption immediately after receipt of your payment. Their redeemability is limited in time and ends after 3 years on 31. December of the calendar year. 
• It is not possible to extend the validity of the voucher. 

Can I redeem my voucher after booking?

• A retroactive redemption of vouchers after booking is generally possible before the start of the booked tour. Please contact us by email or via our contact form.

Can I redeem several vouchers for one booking?

• Several vouchers can be redeemed per booking. This is possible until the voucher value reaches the tour price.

I had to cancel my booking. Can I use my voucher again?

• If a booking is cancelled, the voucher already redeemed on this booking can be used again as long as the cancellation fee is not incurred, otherwise the voucher would be used to settle it.

I have rebooked. Will my voucher be transferred to the new booking?

• If the booking number of the tour does not change, the voucher remains valid and is taken into account in the rebooking. 
• However, if the booking number changes in the course of the rebooking, the voucher can be transferred to the new booking. Please contact us by email or via our contact form.

Please note that the site tour is mostly on foot. The tour is not suitable for disabled people, older people and wheelchair users. There are no breaks or seating possibilities during the tour.

Food is not included in the price. Visiting the Airbus canteens is not possible. We are pleased to offer for groups an arrangement in one of our partner restaurants in the vicinity.

Please make sure you bring your original valid passport or child passport as otherwise you will not be allowed into the facility. Pupils/students/pensioner verification is necessary to check and receive the discount. Driving licenses or other documents or copies are not accepted for entering the site. It is also not possible to access with E-ID (electronic ID cards). The same applies to refugee passports or electronic residence permits without an additional valid passport. 

You can find detailed directions under the respective location (Hamburg, Bremen, Stade).  If necessary we will be pleased to send you the instructions separately. In case of a booking you will receive the directions with the voucher shortly before your visit.

Motorway A1
Leave the highway at exit “Bremen-Arsten” (56) onto the feeder road (B6) into the direction of the airport (passes into “Neuenlander Straße”). Follow this road for approx. 5 km. Turn left at the traffic lights into “Paul-Feller-Straße”, follow this road for approx. 300 m and then turn left into “Cornelius-Edzard-Straße”. Turn left again after approx. 400 m to the Airbus main entrance (visitors’ reception).

Motorway A27 coming from Bremerhaven
Exit “Bremen-Überseestadt” (18) onto the feeder road “Freihäfen” (B6). Follow this road for approx. 6 km (the street passes into “Oldenburger Straße” after approx. 3 km). Take the exit “Bremen-Airportstadt” and follow this road onto highway A281. Exit “Bremen-Airportstadt” (7), turn right at the traffic lights and left at the next traffic lights into “Airbus-Allee” (direction Airbus). Drive straight on to the Airbus main entrance (visitors’ reception).

Federal Road B75 coming from Delmenhorst
Leave “Oldenburger Straße” (B75) at the exit “Bremen-Airportstadt”. Turn left and pass under the road overpass. Follow this road onto highway A281. Exit “Bremen-Airportstadt” (7), turn right at the traffic lights and left at the next traffic lights into “Airbus-Allee” (direction Airbus). Drive straight on to the Airbus main entrance (visitors’ reception).

Arrival by train
Leave the station concourse in the direction of the city and you will find public transport stops on the left of the forecourt. You can only buy tickets at the ticket dispensers and not from the driver. Take the line 6 tram heading to ”Flughafen/Airport” and disembark at “Flughafen/Airport”. Cross the adjoining park until you arrive at “Airbus-Allee”. Turn right onto this street and follow the road straight on to the Airbus main entrance (visitors’ reception).

Meeting point | Airbus Bremen

The Airbus site tours in Bremen start at the Airbus visitor reception building, Airbus-Allee 1, 28199 Bremen.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the tour at the meeting point.

Please send us a complete list of participants with first and last name, nationality, date of birth and place of birth without being asked, at the latest 14 days before the start of the event. Please enter the data directly on our secure internet site. This data will only be used for Airbus access control and plant security and will be deleted after 2 years. Please note the minimum age and the rules for discounts. You will receive the link to enter with the confirmation.

Payment for our factory tours is required prior to departure. This is due 14 days before, for short term bookings immediately.

There is the convenient and fast payment in Paypal, for this you should be directed to the payment program after the online booking or receive a link from us.

If the payment is not made through Paypal, you must transfer the amount until 14 days before the tour: Bank details: account number: 609904040 at Hypovereinsbank, bank code 200 300 00, account holder: Globetrotter Erlebnis GmbH, IBAN: DE 04 2003 0000 0609 9040 40, BIC/Swift: HYVEDEMM300. Please be sure to include the booking number.

If the payment for a guided tour in Hamburg is not possible due to a very short term booking via the bank, you will have to pay cash or by card (Giro Card, Mastercard, Visacard) at the check in. This is also the case if we could not receipt of payment.

In Bremen and Stade, payment on site is generally not possible.

We give you the opportunity to change the number of people up to 14 days before the tour. An increase in the number of persons after the booking confirmation should immediately be confirmed with us because this is not always possible. After 14 days changes are not usually possible. Note that only previously registered and confirmed places before the 14 days deadline can be made available. Name changes (substitutes) in the period from 14 - 7 days before the tour are possible. We will close the lists of names and send them to the site 7 days before the tour. In the case of changes please enter the changes in our customer area on the website.

Changes to the process

Changes are possible for exclusive tours:

Ship arrival or departure from the Airbus pier (Hamburg only)
Shortened tours or tours with special topics

You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the tour. In the case of later complete or partial cancellations, 100% of the fees are due.

For groups of 10 people or more, the deadline for free full cancellation is 4 weeks before the start of the tour, after which 3 more people can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the tour.

From 14 days before the tour, the full fee for all those who are registered will be due. In case of no-shows, sickness, short-term cancellation or missing and/or invalid identity documents or missing participant data, the full amount is due per person

The tours take place on the site. You will be exposed to weather between the production halls. The guided tours take place throughout the year and in any weather, so we ask you to wear appropriate clothing. Please consider all-weather clothing for rain and wind. In the summer we recommend a hat and suggest you take a bottle of water on the tour. For the visit you need sturdy shoes (i.e. closed shoes, no sandals or flip flops). At some locations, safety overshoes and bump caps will be handed out and must be worn.

There is no possibility to leave luggage in our office for space and insurance reasons. Do not take any luggage with you on the tour. Lockers are not available at the factory gates.
In Bremen and Stade, bags or rucksacks, even small ones, are not permitted.

Food is not included in the price. Visiting the Airbus canteens is not possible. We are pleased to offer for groups an arrangement in one of our partner restaurants in the vicinity.

• The biggest german Airbus shop in our office in Hamburg-Finkenwerder is available to you for your purchase of Airbus souvenirs. There are models, pins, T-shirts and much more. Take advantage of the chance to buy your Airbus souvenir! The opening hours are at tourtimes or Mon. -Sun. from 9:00 -17:30
• In Bremen you can buy Airbus articles in the Airport Bremen at Martinshof
• In Stade there is no Airbus souvenir shop.

Airbus site tours at Stade and Bremen and Hamburg up to 31.05.2025 are not for resellers or tour operators. The tours may also not be offered to the public in the media (newspapers, Internet, etc). The Werkstour | Let's visit Airbus Hamburg has been available for touristic resellers and tour operators since 01.06.2025. Please contact us by email for tender texts, use of texts and images.
