The following Airbus policy is binding in the context of the coronavirus situation (COVID-19). The policy applies to all Airbus sites. In view of the current corona situation (COVID-19), Airbus has decided not to conduct normal plant tours at this time in order to protect employees and guests.
In Bremen and Stade, there will probably be no plant tours until at least the end of Jan 2022.
In Hamburg, as long as contact restrictions allow, we can offer a special plant tour with hygiene regulations. This will always with a lead time of 4 weeks, replace the regular plant tour as an alternative offer.
Current: We have started again with factory tours in Hamburg. You can book these online. There may still be time shifts until about 5 days before the tour.
In addition to the self-disclosure described below and compliance with the Airbus regulation, we ask for registration via the LUCA app (if available) and you need proof, i.e. the so-called "2-G plus" according to §10h (see below) apply. You are obliged to wear a medical or FFP2 mask during the entire tour. The 2 G Plus regulation will apply. The access requirements of the 2G Plus access model correspond to the requirements of the 2G model (vaccinated, recovered, including the previously applicable exceptions, in particular for children and adolescents up to 16 years) supplemented by the obligation to present proof of testing, also for vaccinated and recovered persons. The access requirements of the 2G Plus access model correspond to the requirements of the 2G model (vaccinated, recovered, including the previously applicable exceptions, in particular for children and adolescents up to 16 years of age) supplemented by the obligation to present proof of testing, also for vaccinated and recovered persons.Persons who have received a booster vaccination are exempt from the test obligation in the 2G Plus access model. Children and adolescents up to 16 years of age who are serially tested at school are also exempt from the obligation to provide proof of testing, i.e. pupils over the age of 16 require proof of vaccination or convalescence and a negative test or proof of booster vaccination.
Here with this link you can see the COVID self-disclosure form which has to be filled out and handed in before access. Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept guests with "shields" instead of mouth-nose masks and also people who cannot wear mouth-nose protection during the tour for medical reasons. There is an obligation to wear an FFP2 mask or a mask with the same or higher protection (§12 of the state regulation) in the tour bus or bus of the factory tour.
Note regarding domestic risk areas: With the decision of the management of Airbus Operations GmbH on 25.09.2020, the access restrictions - until further notice - do not apply to the domestic German areas. Subject to change.
For all other areas mentioned in the form it is still valid that you must not have had any contact with COVID 19 infected or suspected cases and that you do not have any symptoms of the disease. In the case of self-isolation, there is alternatively a maximum 48 hour old negative corona test. A refusal of access due to these regulations does not change the cancellation conditions.
How do we proceed further?
In Bremen and Stade:
We accept bookings from FEBRUARY 2022 onwards. If it is not foreseeable 16 days in advance whether these can be carried out, we cancel them free of charge.
In Hamburg, we rebook the guests about 4 weeks before the special factory tour with hygiene regulations, inform them about it and ask for the agreement or offer a conversion into a voucher or the free cancellation.
If 16 days before the tour it is not clear whether it can be carried out, we inform the customers and cancel the tour. To make everything as simple and unbureaucratic as possible, we convert bookings with an advance payment into a voucher, which is redeemable for 3 years and can of course also be paid out if the guest does not want to Airbus in the next 3 years. We also inform customers about this.
When can the plant tours in Bremen and Stade or the normal plant tour in Hamburg take place again?
Unfortunately, we cannot give any information on this, as it depends on regulations from the federal states and Airbus. We will inform you in our newsletter and recommend to subscribe to it.
Bookings for tours after the above-mentioned 16-day deadline are explicitly possible.
We are already accepting reservations for 2022. You can currently book tours until 12/23/2022 on our website.
All information subject to change by Airbus or the authorities/state regulations.
Test certificate according to §10h please note: www.hamburg.de/verordnung/
According to the 2 G regulation the vaccination or convalescence certificate is valid, an additional test is currently not required.
