Airbus Stade

• The minimum age is 14 years for all participants (no exceptions).
• Guided tours are not suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues.
• Please wear closed, sturdy shoes.
• Video and audio recordings, as well as the use of mobile phones are not allowed in the factory. Mobile phones need to be switched off throughout the tour.
• Please always adhere to the the instructions of the tour guide or works security staff.
• During the tour visitors may not leave the group. If you decide to leave the group and works security have to be involved, you will be charged the costs.
• At the beginning of the tour identification badges and in some cases a personal audio guide will be issued. At the end of the visit both must be returned to the tour guide fully intact. Should we issue you with an audio device, you can use your own headphones with 3.5 mm jack plug.
• Touching aircraft components and/or the aircraft is not permitted. Smoking, eating and drinking is not allowed in the hangars. Pets are not accepted.
• Guests who are intoxicated,are alcoholized (0.0 thousandth) or whose safety cannot be guaranteed for other reasons, cannot join the tour. The access to the site will be decided Airbus Security.
• In areas of high noise level with the corresponding blue symbol, the use of ear protection equipment is mandatory. You can get this free of charge via the ear protector dispenser at the appropriate entrances. Airbus/Globetrotter assume no liability for loss of hearing, if you do not correctly use this protection.
• All commercial information of the Airbus group and its business partners which you may receive during the tour is to be kept confidential from third parties. This also applies to internal information, such as for technical and structural equipment, manufacturing methods and procedures.
• All publications which are available after the factory tour, must be released by Airbus over the Globetrotter Travel Agency GmbH.
• Airbus as a host and Globetrotter as promoters reserve the right to suspend or cancel tours without replacement even at short notice due to operational or security reasons. No charges will be made in this case, but also no damages can be claimed.

In the event of misconduct or disturbance Airbus/Globetrotter can also remove participants from the site during the tour. Airbus and/or Globetrotter do not accept liability for any damage of property and personal injury

In Hamburg, Bremen and Stade, you can book guided tours as usual.

In Hamburg and Bremen it can also still come to short-term date changes. We will then contact you i.d.Regel until 5 days before the tour. 
In the bus and in closed rooms it is obligatory to wear a FFP2 mask, during the rest of the tour it is obligatory to wear a medical or FFP2 mask.
We are already accepting reservations for 2023. You can currently book tours until 12/23/2022 on our website.

• Valid original passport or personal ID is required!
• The guided tours are not suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues (stairs must be climbed and seating is not available)
• For sites Stade and Bremen: Participants from non- EU countries may require a special permit. Please ensure that you have to inform us before booking.
• Airbus site tours are not offered for resellers or travel agencies.

In the individual tour offers and in our fast-finder you can find free places without first having to book. Should no free tours be displayed, please change the period or reduce the number of places required. If your requested tour date is not displayed, it is already fully booked. On public holidays and between Christmas and New Year's Eve, there are no guided tours.

Dates for individual guests in Stade

On one friday per month.
Duation: 2-2,5 hours

In Hamburg  a maximum of only 25 participants is possible per tour guide. In Stade and Bremen a maximum of 20 participants is possible. Should your group consist of more than 20/15 persons, then the participants will be divided into several tour groups. Depending on circumstances on the day the tours can be either in parallel or staggered. In the case of small groups or single reservations we reserve the right to add additional participants to the group.  If you would like to have an exclusive group you can request this. 

Booking several part-groups/tours

When a booking is made for several part-groups you can request different starting times from us. We will check this  depending on the daily situation and tour types.
For reservations of more than 20/25 places on guided tours for individual guests we always recommend first booking 20/25 places on one tour and then additional places. Thus you have the advantage that only on one tour are other guests booked.

Exclusive groups

You have the possibility to book a guided tour as an Exclusive Group. Then you can pay a flat rate for the maximum allowed number of participants for that tour. Your tour will not be filled with other people and you remain alone with your participants. Verified price reductions will be taken into account.

Please note that in Hamburg, when using our tour bus, two groups of 25 are guided together in the tour bus but separately at the exits. If you want to be guided here without other guests, you would have to book 2 groups or bring a separate vehicle. However, the introduction usually takes place together in the first hall.

In addition to German, guided tours are also available in English and French. Should you wish the tour to take place in French or English, this must be notified in advance.

Verification is necessary to check and receive the discount.
Receipt of the discount depends not on the booking confirmation but on the on-site verification of the documentation.

You can buy vouchers for an Airbus factory tour around the clock in our voucher shop and pay conveniently via PayPal. You can freely define the value of the voucher yourself. The voucher can be redeemed from the date of purchase in 2021 until December 31, 2024 for the Airbus factory tours in Hamburg, Bremen or Stade.

Please note that the site tour is mostly on foot. The tour is not suitable for disabled people, older people and wheelchair users. There are no breaks or seating possibilities during the tour.

Food is not included in the price. Visiting the Airbus canteens is not possible. We are pleased to offer for groups an arrangement in one of our partner restaurants in the vicinity.

Please make sure you bring your original valid passport or child passport as otherwise you will not be allowed into the facility. Pupils/students/pensioner verification is necessary to check and receive the discount. Driving licenses or other documents or copies are not accepted for entering the site.

You can find detailed directions under the respective location (Hamburg, Bremen, Stade).  If necessary we will be pleased to send you the instructions separately. In case of a booking you will receive the directions with the voucher shortly before your visit.

The Airbus plant tours start at Stade at the "Security office/reception", Airbus Strasse 2, 21684 Stade.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the tour at the meeting point.

Please send us the complete participant list at the latest 14 days before the scheduled tour date with first and last names as well as nationality, date of birth, place of birth. Please make sure that you put your reservation number on the participant list! Please use our form or insert the Data into our online System. This data are only for the security check and the site security from Airbus. We delete this data 2 years later. Please have a look to the minimum age and the conditions for reductions.

The admissions fee has to be paid latest 14 days prior to the visit.

Payment via PayPal

You can pay via PayPal by selecting it during the booking process or by using the payment link in the confirmation email.

Pay secure and easy with PayPal. If you already have a PayPal Account, simply log-in. Should you be a new client, you can easily register for a new account.

When using PayPal: During the booking process, simply select PayPal as you payment option. After finishing your booking, select the PayPal Button, as you will not be redirected automatically.
Then a new secure page will open PayPal. Log-In and confirm the payment. You will be redirected back to your website and receive your booking confirmation.

Payment during Check-In

This option is only available for last-minute bookings (16 days before the tour or less).
Then you may pay the admissions fee during the check-in in cash or by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) in our Hamburg-Finkenwerder office. Reductions (e.g. student discount) will be checked there as well. In case the discounts don’t match the original booking adjustments will be made.
You will receive a new invoice if needed.

At our Bremen and Stade locations no payment on site is available. All payments must be done in advance via bank wire transfer or PayPal.

We give you the opportunity to change the number of people up to 14 days before the tour. An increase in the number of persons after the booking confirmation should immediately be confirmed with us because this is not always possible. After 14 days changes are not usually possible. Note that only previously registered and confirmed places before the 14 days deadline can be made available. Name changes (substitutes) in the period from 14 - 7 days before the tour are possible. We will close the lists of names and send them to the site 7 days before the tour. In the case of changes please send us a complete new version of your list of names or enter the changes in our customer area on the website.

Changes to the process

Changes are possible for exclusive tours:

Ship arrival or departure from the Airbus pier (Hamburg only)
Shortened tours or tours with special topics

Up to 14 days before the tour you can cancel free. In the case of later cancellation or part-cancellation 100% of the fees are due. For groups of 40 persons or more, the deadline for free complete cancellation is 4 weeks before the tour. From 14 days before the tour, the full fee for all those who are registered will be due. In case of no-shows, sickness, short-term cancellation or missing and/or invalid identity documents or missing participant data, the full amount is due per person

The tours take place on the site. You will be exposed to weather between the production halls. The guided tours take place throughout the year and in any weather, so we ask you to wear appropriate clothing. Please consider all-weather clothing for rain and wind. In the summer we recommend a hat and suggest you take a bottle of water on the tour. For the visit you need sturdy shoes (i.e. closed shoes, no sandals or flip flops). At some locations, safety overshoes and bump caps will be handed out and must be worn.

There is no possibility to leave luggage in our office for space and insurance reasons. Do not take any luggage with you on the tour. Lockers are not available at the factory gates.

Food is not included in the price. Visiting the Airbus canteens is not possible. We are pleased to offer for groups an arrangement in one of our partner restaurants in the vicinity.

• The Airbus shop in our office in Hamburg-Finkenwerder is available to you for your purchase of Airbus souvenirs. There are models, pins, T-shirts and much more. Take advantage of the chance to buy your Airbus souvenir! The opening hours are at the start of the tour or Mon. -Fri. from 9:00 -17:30 
• In Bremen you can buy Airbus articles in the Airport Bremen at Martinshof
• In Stade there is no Airbus souvenir shop.

Airbus site tours are not for resellers or tour operators. The tours may also not be offered to the public in the media (newspapers, Internet, etc).
